Airtel prepaid recharge plan of Rs 98 now competes with Jio’s Rs 101 prepaid voucher, which gives 12 GB data to Jio users.

Airtl vs jio new double data plan

Airtel has doubled the data benefits available on its Rs 98 prepaid recharge plan. This plan will now give 12 GB high-speed data to customers with a validity of 28 days. Earlier Airtel used to offer 6 GB high-speed data in this plan. This plan has been introduced by the company as a double data offer. Explain that this Airtel Prepaid Recharge Plan gives the benefit of data only.

There is no free SMS or calling benefit in this. Not only this, apart from the double data offer, the telecom operator is giving extra talk time to its users on a recharge plan of Rs 500, Rs 1,000 and Rs 5,000.

The benefits of data have been doubled in the Airtel Rs 98 recharge pack. Now let us tell you that this plan competes with Jio’s Rs 101 data voucher, as 12 GB 4G data is also available in Jio’s Rs 101 prepaid recharge pack. However, it also gets 1,000 calling minutes for calling from Jio on other networks. Apart from this, this plan of Jio does not have its own validity, it runs till the end of the existing plan. In comparison, Airtel’s Rs 98 prepaid pack comes with a validity of 28 days.

Airtel has not made any changes in its Rs 48 plan. Airtel Rs 48 prepaid plan still offers validity of 28 days and total 3GB of high-speed data.

Talking about the competitors, Jio has also recently introduced a Rs 151 “Work from Home” pack, which gives users 30 GB 4G data with a validity of 30 days. At the same time, Vodafone’s Rs 98 plan gives 6 GB data and 28 days validity. Currently, Vodafone’s plan seems weak in all three. As such, it remains to be seen whether Vodafone will upgrade its offering.

Airtel is now offering additional talk time on its Rs 500, Rs 1,000 and Rs 5,000 recharge plans. The company used to give talk time of Rs 423.73 on the recharge of Rs 500, which has now been reduced to Rs 480. Similarly, earlier there was talk time of Rs 847.46 on recharge of Rs 1,000 and now you will get Rs 960. If the user recharges Rs 5,000, he will now get talk time of Rs 4,800, which was earlier Rs 4237.
