Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on May 14 said that an exemplary action will be taken against criminals involved in Guna incident. “Our Police personnel sacrificed themselves while facing poachers. Exemplary action against criminals will be taken. They have almost been identified. Investigation is going on. One body recovered in a nearby village, he died of bullets. Police force has been sent. Criminals will not be spared at any cost, action against them will be exemplary. The sacrifices of all three Police personnel – Rajkumar Jatav, Niraj Bhargav and Santram – will not go to waste. I respect their sacrifice,” said Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh. “They will be given the status of martyrs and Rs 1 crore each will be given to their families. One member of each of their families will be given government job. Last rites will be held with full honour. Decided to immediately remove Gwalior IG for reaching late at spot after the incident,” he added.
