Liverpool target with ‘incredible’ shooting ability ‘has other plans’, unlikely to join Reds
Liverpool seemingly won’t be signing Mainz star Anton Stach this summer with a host of top Bundesliga clubs now interested.
That’s according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, who claims that Stach heading to Liverpool is ‘not hot’ at this stage.
It’s noted that Mainz sporting director Christian Heidel has a great relationship with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp from their time together at Mainz.
That could help a deal but Plettenberg claims that Stach has ‘other plans’ and seemingly isn’t on his way to Anfield this summer.
This comes after 90Min reported in February that Liverpool have been watching Stach ahead of potentially launching a move for him.
Liverpool are looking at a whole host of midfield options for the summer window and whilst Stach may have been on the radar, a summer deal isn’t expected.

Plettenberg also noted that Stach is open to a summer transfer and could be sold for around €15million (£13million).
It’s stated that three Bundesliga clubs – Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen are all interested in Stach.
The 24-year-old is also on the radars of Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United according to 90Min.
Stach is clearly a wanted man and even if it isn’t Liverpool, he could land a summer move.
Now a Germany international with two caps to his name, Stach has had to battle to get to this stage.
Stach had spells with the second teams of VfL Osnabruck and VfL Wolfsburg either side…
